The Locht family establish Egtved sock factory in the town of Egtved.

New production is inaugurated in Egtved. The warehouse is built with possibility for later expansion.

Egtved socks go into politics. Uffe Elleman shows off Egtved’s “EF sock”, with the sock subsequently enjoying huge sales success.

Egtved moves the knitting factory to Lithuania, whilst the warehouse and sales department remain in Egtved.

Egtved sock factory is acquired by JBS Textile Group and the office is moved to Herning.

Egtved continues to test new materials and techniques. In 2015, a new collection is launched with bamboo socks for men.  The socks live up to Egtved’s high standards of comfort and functionality.
